Knowing When to Rest

I was having a telephone chat with a dear friend who used to work as a top Chef to the Rich and the Royals; this woman still today always sends my wife and I on special occasions the most beautiful looking unbelievable tasting cakes. But, back to the reason I mentioned her, she was telling me about her days as a Chef, and how they had a strong industrial mixer for mixing the cakes at her place of work, and there were times when this well built mixer when over worked would just stop working when it had enough, she also said that it would get a little over heated.
But, after a little rest it would start afresh as if new.
We laughed about this and began to compare it to the everyday human being.
This gave me some thought………..
There are times when we have to realise When to slow down, When to pick up pace, and When to stop.
The human body is an amazing intricate design by God, that we are still working out, yet still we have made it to other planets, isn’t this a bit strange when you put it into perspective.
If we do not begin to listen to, and discover our own bodies we could end up in a lot of trouble.
Start to pay attention to the foods we eat, the things we think about which causes us to stress, your spiritual well-being with your connection to God, and also how we treat others.

Because just like that mixer every now and again, we get a little over heated, and need to listen to the need to stop!!
So we need to rest, gather our thoughts, renew our strength, and start again.
